First Day At Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.................... all about the food!

Who wouldn't love the sights, sounds, smells, and flavors that Disney's Epcot Flower and Garden Festival has to offer? 

The Flower and Garden Festival runs from March 1st to May 29th this year!! We go several times during the festival just to we can experience as much as we can.

 On our first trip over to the Festival we visited a few of the fantastic food booths that are placed around the World Showcase. 

Our First stop was at the Berry Basket booth. There we enjoyed the Lamb chop with Quinoa Salad and Blackberry Gastrique.



We Moved on to the Bauernmarkt... IE the Farmers Market. There we tried the Roasted Bratwurst with Curry Ketchup and Paprika-spiced Chips.


Our next stop was The Smokehouse. We were by no means disappointed there. We got the Pulled Pig Slider with Coleslaw and Crispy Onions AND Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash with White Cheddar Fondue and Pickled Jalapeños.


You would think by now that we would be done but we were prepared to over eat big time, so off to Hanami we went. When we got there we had to have dessert so we got the Frushi: Fresh Pineapple, Strawberry and Melon rolled with Raspberry Coconut Rice, sprinkled with Toasted Coconut and Whipped Cream on the side.


Next we needed to have a drink after all of that food so we ended up at Cider house to try their cider flight.


We ended the day by wandering back around to Pineapple Promenade for a Frozen Violet Lemonade.


We were so stuffed we canceled all plans to use any of our fast passes and went on home. I must admit there was not a single thing that I did not like and I cannot wait to go back and try some more! Hopefully next time I will not be so food focused and get some great pics of the topiaries that they have there!
